METHOD FOR CALIBRATING PREAMP'S DIE TEMPERATURE SENSOR OF HARD DISK DRIVE AND RECORDING MEDIA FOR COMPUTER PROGRAM THEREFOR

A die temperature sensor correction method for a pre-amplifier of an HDD(Hard Disc Drive) and a recording medium recording a computer program for performing the method are provided to prevent defect generation like ATE(Adjacent Track Erase), the WW(Weak Write) of low temperature/high temperature, and bit corruption. Before a servo write pattern test process is performed, die temperature sensing prices of a pre-amplifier are measured and recorded for the certain first unit time by a plurality of times in a state when power is supplied to an HDD of a tested object located in a clean room having a certain temperature condition(S11-S22). A measured internal temperature of the HDD is compared with a temperature of the clean room on the basis of the temperature sensing prices of the pre-amplifier, and a certain offset value is determined(S24). A die temperature sensor of the pre-amplifier is corrected on the basis of the offset value(S25).
