METHOD FOR TREATING INFLAMMATORY DISEASES OF MAXILLOFACIAL AREA

The method for treating the inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial area provides for the combination of the intravenous administration of the drug with the interstitial electrophoresis. First, the drug is administered dropwise; 30-60 minutes later upon the attainment of the maximal drug concentration, the electrophoresis follows. The electrophoresis is applied to the affected area for 30-50 minuets. Ceftriaxon is administered with its daily dose diluted in 100 mL of physiologic saline.
