METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE PARAMETERS THAT CHARACTERIZE THE QUALITY OF GASOLINE OR DIESEL FUEL IN FAST TESTING

The proposed method for determining the parameters that characterize the quality of gasoline or diesel fuel in fast testing consists in determining the coefficients of absorption of infrared radiation in a specified wavelength range for the sample of the tested fuel and several reference samples of fuel with known composition and content of benzene, determining the spectral characteristics of the samples, transforming and comparing the data obtained, and using the comparison results for determining the quality of the fuel. The proposed method is distinctive by its enhanced accuracy.
