Cylinder dryer has outer and inner coaxial rotary drums, branch pipes for supply and discharge of heat carrier, appliances for loading wet and for unloading dried material, guide plates, those are placed at the inner sections of the outer and the inner cylinders in screw lines, appliance for wet material loading, this includes receiving tank and screw conveyor, tracks placed at the outer section of the outer cylinder, set rollers, toothed crown, drive mechanism. Dryer is additionally equipped with guide plates placed at the outer section of the inner cylinder inn screw line, lift plates, those are placed in transverse direction with respect to the guide plates, conical diffuser placed at the outlet end of the branch pipe for drying agent supply, conical diffuser placed at the inlet end of the branch pipe for drying agent feeding. Section of the inner cylinder at the side of wet material supply is arranged as truncated cone, its smaller base is directed to the side of wet material supply. The outlet end of the branch pipe for drying agent supply and the inlet end of the branch pipe for drying agent discharge are placed coaxially with respect to rotary cylinders. Guide plates at the inner sections of the outer and the inner cylinders are placed in cut screw lines. Height of lift plates placed at the outer part of the inner cylinder is smaller than height of respective guide plates. Lift plates are placed at angles corresponding to rill with delay.
