The system has a supply unit (22) for electrically supplying a central unit (20). A high bandwidth bus (23) is connected to entertainment equipments e.g. screen. A low bandwidth bus (24) is connected to comfort-related equipment. Each bus is connected to the central unit and comprises wires for the transmission of data and two wires provided for the electric supply. Media type peripherals and comfort type peripherals are provided. The unit (20) is connected to a control device which is accessible to a user. An independent claim is also included for a computing architecture for controlling a set of passenger seats of an aircraft.
