The sensor (1) has two conductive armatures separated from each other by an insulator, where each armature is connected to a connection terminal of the sensor. The armatures are constituted by an outer cube (1a) and an inner cube (1b) having an identical shape and being overlapped one in another. The inner cube has a volume equal to 50 percentage of the volume of the outer cube. The outer cube forms a capsule containing the inner cube, where the thickness of the insulator separating the cubes is equal on all the points of the cubes. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an electric field measuring device comprising a sensor (2) an electric field measuring method.
