摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous signal detection device and a synchronous signal detection/processing method capable of correctly detecting the first synchronous signals that should be received, protecting data against deterioration as much as possible, and realizing a correct frame synchronization detection without using HPF etc. <P>SOLUTION: The frame synchronous signal detection method comprises means for comparing a peak value obtained by subjecting the received detection signals and the known frame synchronous word to correlative processing with a predetermined first threshold value, considering a detection output corresponding to a case in which the peak value is larger than the threshold value as a frame synchronous word candidate, calculating a DC offset volume contained in the signals, and subtracting the calculated DC offset volume from the detection output to produce a frame synchronous word correction signals. Furthermore, a vector difference between the frame synchronous word correction signals and the known frame synchronous word is calculated, the vector difference is compared with a second threshold value when it is found that the vector difference is smaller than the second threshold value, and it is judged that synchronization is established.
