<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub allowing a person to take a full immersion bath, a half immersion bath and a lying bath in a safe and stable posture and preventing wash water from being retained in a raised bottom section. <P>SOLUTION: The bathtub has the raised bottom section formed along part of an inner wall of the bathtub by raising the bottom of the bathtub in a step.
