UNDERWATER AGITATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater agitation apparatus in which a head shaking motion is made by using the unused self-generating energy without using a head shaking motor and which can cope effectively with even a wide treatment tank by using one agitator.

SOLUTION: The underwater agitator 1 having a propeller 2 in the front is supported to be freely turned laterally around a rotary shaft 3 arranged backward. A rudder plate 6 is supported pivotally to be turned freely by a steering shaft 5 extended downward from the undersurface of a seat plate 4 arranged laterally on the undersurface of the underwater agitator 1. The leading edge part of an elastic structure 14 having a base point 14a on a line to be formed by connecting the rotary shaft 3 to the steering shaft 5 is connected to the tip or its vicinity of the rudder plate 6. The turning angle of the rudder plate 6 is regulated by stoppers 13 arranged oppositely from both sides of the underwater agitator 1 without being linked with the turn of the underwater agitator 1. The power of reversely turning the rudder plate 6 is energized by the action of the elastic structure 14.
