PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a gas alarm so that a stable pressurization contact between an electrode and a terminal can be secured while the alarm main body is locked to a fitting base by allowing tolerance, variation of dimensional accuracy by additionally preparing a simple component in the alarm main body. SOLUTION: In a structure that the fitting base is incorporated with a base terminal 5 corresponding to a hook electrode and the hook electrode is engaged into an electrode receptacle opened at a case end surface to be bayonet-coupled to the base terminal, it is provided with a nut 7 holding the whirl stop inside a casing of the alarm main body, a screw type butting mechanism 9 composed of an adjusting screw 8 inserted into a through hole from the front surface side of the casing and screwed into the nut. The tip of the adjusting screw is pressed to a case end surface of the fitting base by a screwing operation of the screw type butting mechanism while the alarm main body is locked to the fitting base and the hook electrode is pressure contact to the base terminal to secure surface pressure between the electrode and the terminal required for energization by bringing the hook electrode contact with the base terminal by its reaction force.
