A system for generating power using wasted heat of exhaust gas of a vehicle is provided to improve the output by preventing the engine of the vehicle from being excessively heated. In a system for generating power using wasted heat of exhaust gas of a vehicle, the exhaust heat generated in an exhaust manifold(1) of the vehicle is converted into vapor in an insulation box(2). The thermal energy is converted to a power generating energy in a small-sized vapor turbine(3) using the vapor. The vapor is cooled in a cooler(5) and is fed to a water pump(9) again, thereby forming a circulation system absorbing the energy of the exhaust manifold.
