<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a safety margin and to prevent the lowering of a fixing force. <P>SOLUTION: A binding apparatus comprises a strip (2) having at least one side shaped in saw-teeth and a lock (3) for holding both ends (9, 10) of a loop of the strip (2) and equipped with at least one fixing sections (7, 8). The fixing section has saw teeth (11) meshed with the saw teeth (6) of the strip.
