<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MoS<SB>2</SB>-based coated bearing with high bearing surface pressure assured performance capable of solving problems in a conventional direct supporting connecting rod wherein the surface pressure resistance of a conventional Pb, Sn, or resin overlay is approximately 20 to 25 MPa and that of an Al-Pb-based overlay is approximately 13 MPa which are considerably lower than that of a semi-circular slide bearing. <P>SOLUTION: An Al-Sn-based alloy 2 is fitted to the sliding surface of the connecting rod 1 by spattering, and an MoS<SB>2</SB>-resin-based overlay 3 is applied and baked onto the Al-Sn-based alloy 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
