<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder which records images without inclinations to a recording material, and moreover improves a recording speed without an image quality of recording images damaged in the image recorder which records the images by using light beams. <P>SOLUTION: The image recorder 1 is equipped with a control part 33 which controls each part. A signal detected by an acceleration sensor 25 is input to the control part 33. It is detected on the basis of the signal whether a head support 18 stops.
