<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle capable of performing single traveling by the own vehicle or integrated traveling in linkage with other vehicles. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of single-seated vehicles capable of single traveling are combined and linked with one another, whereby the vehicles are integrally traveled while retaining a predetermined traveling form. Among all the vehicles traveling in linkage, one vehicle is taken as a host vehicle, and the occupant of the host vehicle corresponds to a driver of linked traveling. The host vehicle 1 performs driving necessary for a speed/direction matched to a driving operation performed by the occupant. Simultaneously with it, the host vehicle 1 instructs driven vehicles 2-4 to synchronize with (follow up) the own vehicle. For synchronizing with the own vehicle (retaining the linked relation), the host vehicle 1 transmits the speed, the direction and the relative positions of the own vehicle to the other driven vehicles 2-4 as traveling information. The driven vehicles 2-4 travel based on the follow-up instruction, and feed back state information including the speeds, directions and own-vehicle positions of the own vehicles to the host vehicle 1 as own-vehicle information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
