PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple detection/quantitative determination measurement means for a specimen measuring method, using a solid phase carrier. SOLUTION: In this quantitative determination method for a test material, the solid phase carrier allowing a substance to be bonded thereto is provided on an end part of a light transmissive tubule. A substance (primary antibody), capable of determining the quantity of the test material is bonded and fixed to the carrier. A test material, modified or labeled, and a secondary antibody with respect to the test material are spread out in the carrier of the tubule to bring the fixed substance into contact with the test material, thus making it possible to determine the quantity of the test material.
