PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an allergen-reducing agent capable of effectively reducing allergen amount, neither polluting nor damaging the surface of livingware attached with the allergen. SOLUTION: The allergen reducing agent comprising as an active ingredient at least one selected from a group consisting of alkali metal carbonate, laurylbenzenesulphonate, laurylsulfate and polyoxyethylene lauryl ether sulfate is provided.
