PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of an earphone cable also used as an antenna which can improve characteristics of a desired frequency broadband wave of broadband waves for received FM broadcasting and TV broadcasting. SOLUTION: An earphone cable 1 utilized as an antenna has a controller 3 at the mid-portion of the earphone cable 1, an earphone 5 connected to one end of the earphone cable 1, and a main body 2 connected to the other end. Two lines of signal lines 4 from the end, to which the main body 2 is connected, to the controller 3 are composed of a coaxial cable 45, and capacitors C1 to C3 are connected between a core conductor 44 of the coaxial cable 45 and other signal lines 41 to 43, respectively, in the controller 3. Selecting values of the capacitors C1 to C3 as appropriate improves the characteristics of the desired frequency broadband wave. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
