The sensor unit has a housing (1) and a connection cable enclosing an electrically insulating cable sheath, where the cable transfers sensor parameters. The housing has a cable opening for the connection cable and a sealing unit is provided to cover and seal the connection cable, where the sealing unit is formed partially as a tube (3). The wall thickness of the tube is less than a multiple of outer diameter of the connection cable.
