An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display), a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) substrate, and a fabricating method thereof are provided to form sustain electrode lines on a same surface with data lines for reducing a distance to pixel electrodes, thereby improving capacitance of storage capacitors. An LCD includes a lower substrate(1000) having TFT transistors including gate, source and drain electrodes(111,121,122), wherein gate lines, data lines(120), and pixel electrodes(140) are respectively connected to the gate, source and drain electrodes. Sustain electrode lines(150) overlap edges of the pixel electrodes partially, wherein the sustain electrode lines are formed on a same surface with the data lines and extended in the same direction with the data lines. An upper substrate(2000) faces the lower substrate and is formed with common electrodes facing the pixel electrodes. A liquid crystal layer is formed between the upper and lower substrates. |
