<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for acquiring a device status capable of maintaining power-saving effect by setting a default setting value of a device status acquisition interval to a large value as compared with a power-saving disabled device model, a large value as compared with power-saving mode transition time-out time of the device, or ∞, namely no polling, for a power-saving enabled device model based on power-saving enabled information for each device model whose status is to be acquired when acquiring the status to a desired device. <P>SOLUTION: In the system for acquiring the device status, the default setting value of the device status acquisition interval should be set to the a large value as compared with the default setting value of the device status acquisition interval of the power-saving mode disabled device model, based on the power-saving mode enabled information for each device model whose status is to be acquired for the power-saving mode enabled device model. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
