<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve a load to a resource of a logical printer server which manages a plurality of physical printers. <P>SOLUTION: This printer management device (device A) as the logical printer server is constituted so that it manages attribute information, state information of the physical printers (devices B, C, D), when a job request is received from a PC 105, selects a physical printer which processes the job request based on the information to be managed, transfers the job request to the selected physical printer and transfers a print destination (URI showing a print port) returned from the physical printer as its response to the PC 105. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
