PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output system, an image output means, a program for executing the procedure and a recording medium for recording its program for easily confirming the image of a variable data region printed by variable print prior to printing.

SOLUTION: In this image output system for printing one or more images based on one or more generated print image data by inserting one or more variable data into a variable data region, a picture information generating means 208 is provided with a function as an extraction means for extracting the data of the variable data region in one or more generated print image data and a function as a display control means for controlling a display means to display the extracted data side by side.
