PRINTER SERVER, PRINTING SYSTEM, PROGRAM AND PRINT CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress useless printing when printing electronic data stored or displayed by a computer.

SOLUTION: This printer server 1, which is shared by a plurality of computers to print electronic data, is provided. The printing system is configured so that the printer server 1, client computers 2 and printers 3 are connected to a communication network. The printer server 1 is provided with: a first means for converting electronic data transmitted from a client computer into one in a page description language format and storing it in a storage means; and a second means for transmitting the electronic data in the page description language format stored in the storing means to a printer 3.
