<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter substrate for liquid crystal display device and method for manufacturing the same in which the processes are simplified, the manufacturing cost is reduced and the color reproducing characteristic is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter substrate for liquid crystal display device includes: a substrate having a plurality of color filter regions and a black matrix region; respective color filters of red, green and blue formed on the color filter regions of the substrate, respectively; a trench formed in the black matrix region of the substrate at a predetermined depth; and a black matrix formed inside the trench and comprising overlapping the respective color filters of red, green and blue with one another in the trench. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
