<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a performance index by reducing a heat conduction ratio by the addition of a dopant regarding a thermoelectric material for converting heat to electricity, and a manufacturing method of the material. <P>SOLUTION: The thermoelectric material contains two or more materials from a group of materials composed of bismuth, antimony, tellurium and selenium. By using an ytterbium trifluoride as the dopant, the heat conduction ratio is reduced markedly so that the thermoelectric material of an improved performance index is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
