PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for recording in an optical disk by which information of a content already recorded in the disk can be known without taking time by only looking at the surface of the disk. SOLUTION: The content consisting of the video and sound is recorded on a data-recording surface of an unrecorded optical disk, and the information of the recorded content is written on a surface opposite to the data-recording surface of the disk. Thereafter, another content is added to the disk where the content is recorded, the position in the disk rotating direction is adjusted using address information of the data-recording surface and thereafter, information of the added content is written on the surface opposite to the data-recording surface of the disk.
