PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data reproducing device capable of reproducing recorded data from a recording medium comprising a plurality of clusters where the clusters to be used for data recording can be traced without lowering a reproducing speed in a tracing direction which is opposite to a data recording direction and capable of dispensing with specific constitution of a recording medium and a means and a device for reproducing data. SOLUTION: A memory means 7 prepares an order opposite to a direction of an order for using clusters for data recording from the recording medium 17 and a control means 6 controls DSP 5 so as to reproduce data in the opposite order.
