PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize efficient communication processing in a data communication system. SOLUTION: For example, in the data communication system constituted of a host and two devices, device drivers having relation to the two devices are provided in the host, for example, when the second device is further connected to the host at a state that the first device is connected to the host, the device drivers are selected and used (S104b). In addition, when the second device is connected at a state that the first device is not yet connected to the host, a device driver unique to the second device is selected and used (S103b). Thus, the efficient communication processing is realized by selecting the device drivers according to combination of the devices.
