PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a karaoke machine capable of determining the order of playing for reserved pieces of music, even if the object pieces of music are not specified by a user. SOLUTION: The karaoke machine includes a playing data reproduction section 101 which reproduces playing data of a piece of music specified among playing data for karaoke which are recorded on a recording medium; a reserved music storage section 104 which stores specified pieces of reserved music in a specified order; a mode decision section 106 which decides whether a random music selection mode is specified; a reserved music number decision section 107 which decides whether two or more pieces of music stored in a reserved music storage section 104 are specified, when the random music selection mode is specified; a next music selecting section 102 which arbitrarily selects a pieces of music to be played next out of pieces of reserved music stored in the reserved music storage section 104, when it is decided that two ore more pieces of reserved music are specified; and a selected music display section 103 which displays a direction screen that shows the next music being selected on a monitor 24 and specifies the next selected music, while the next music selection section 102 is selecting the next music to be played.
