PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel provided with a shake correction device, and the size is compact when stored. SOLUTION: The lens barrel 1 includes; a shake correction optical system holding part 301 for holding a shake correction optical system L2; a support part 302 for supporting the holding part 301 movably in a direction approximately orthogonal to an optical axis I; a driving part 310 for driving the holding part 301; a position detection part 320 for detecting a position of the holding part 301; a light quantity adjustment part 200 which has an opening 201 allowing image light to pass therethrough and is moved between a use position wherein it can close a part or a whole of the opening 201 by a light shielding member 202 in a state of being spaced from the holding part 301 and a storage position wherein it has the shake correction optical system L2 inserted into the aperture 201; and guide parts 203 and 204 which guide the light quantity adjustment part 200 and are disposed at the same distance to the optical axis I in a diametral direction as the driving part 310 and the position detection part 320 and apart from each other around the optical axis I.
