PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of being largely deformed and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the electronic device includes a step A of preparing at least one of rigid substrate 40 and 45 holding arrangement relation among a plurality of two-dimensionally arrayed light emitting parts 11, a step B of fixing the plurality of light emitting parts 11 to a flexible substrate 10 with the rigid substrates 40 and 45 in opposition to the flexible substrate 10, and a step C of making the flexible substrate 10 deformable by removing portions connecting the plurality of light emitting parts, of the rigid substrates 40 and 45 at least partially.
