PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which can suitably block a connector terminal from being drawn out from a housing even if the connector terminal is pulled forcibly out of the housing, while the connector terminal is inserted in the housing and a retainer is applied. SOLUTION: The connector 10 comprises a connector terminal 11, a housing 12, and a retainer 13. When the connector terminal 11 is inserted into a insertion 14 of the housing 12, a tip 27c of a housing lance 27 and a front side 29c of a retainer leg 29 of the retainer 13 are engaged respectively with different parts of the notch 25 of the connector terminal 11, so that it is blocked from being drawn out of inside of the insertion 14. The bottom side of a main body 28 of the retainer 13 is brought in contact with the top side 27d of the housing lance 27 to restrict bending deformation of the housing lance 27.
