A temperature compensated crystal oscillator using a semiconductor heating device is provided to reduce power consumption and stabilize a frequency by forming a micro-thermostat with a crystal oscillation piece and a one-chip IC. A crystal oscillation piece(9) is made of a piezoelectric material for generating an electric signal by using physical oscillation according to a voltage. A one-chip IC(10) includes a memory(20) for receiving data, a temperature comparator(30) for compensating the temperature of the crystal oscillation piece, a heating element(40) for constantly maintaining the temperature of the crystal oscillation piece, and a heating control circuit(50) for controlling a supply current by sensing temperature of a semiconductor junction. A package(11) is used for isolating the crystal oscillation piece and the one-chip IC from the outside. |
