A panel structure for providing sound absorption, damping or attenuation comprising a first panel and a second panel with a material disposed there between wherein the first and second panels are formed at least partially of a plastic material; the material comprises a support structure together with a sound absorption damping or attenuation structure wherein the support structure is a honeycomb extending between the first and second panels and the sound absorption damping or a attenuation structure is a foam disposed within the cells of the honeycomb, the panels are especially useful of aircraft interior.
