A method for connecting a device with a network storage system and a memory card type wireless network device using the same are provided to perform a storing process and a reproducing process irrespective of capacity of a memory card by connecting directly the device with the network storage system. User information registered in a network storage unit(200) and composition information of the network storage unit are received from a device(300) including a memory card slot. A user authentication process is requested to the network storage unit according to the received information. A mount of a remote storage space is requested to the network storage unit when the user authentication process is requested to the network storage unit.
