A cover and sealing container assembly with improved sealing effect is provided to easily couple the container to the cover, and reinforce coupling force between the cover and the container by comprising a cover having body and elastic element, an engaging projection and a container part with top face on the projection which is slopingly extended outward. The cover(400) comprises: a main body(100) which has inner side wall(110) and outer side wall(120) protruded downward along periphery, a furrow(130) between both walls, and a projection part(140) on inner side(121) of the outer side wall(120); and an elastic element(200) which has elastic inner wall(210), outer wall(220) and bottom face(230), which is closely inserted between the furrow(130) and seals a container and the cover by inserting upper wall of the container between the inner wall(210) and the outer wall(220). The outer wall extends to a position spaced apart from the projection part(140). A fixing groove(150) is formed between the projection part(140) and front end of the elastic outer wall(220).
