An image display device and a driving apparatus for an image display device are provided to display different images on a plurality of screens with a single driving apparatus for an image display device, and display images in various methods by scanning images with a light source array module moving in all directions. At least one light source array module(600) is installed to scan a light. A moving body circulates or reciprocates the light source array module. A frame memory(300) remembers image data. A light source driving unit(400) provides a data voltage based on the image data to the light source array module. A signal control unit(200) generates the image data based on an inputted image signal and a synchronization signal controlling display of the image data to provide the image data and the synchronization signal to the light source driving unit.
