<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for preventing influence to an image and deterioration of working efficiency even when a residual toner amount increases. <P>SOLUTION: A color printer 1 has a photosensitive drum 20, and a transfer device 60 for transferring toner images on the photosensitive drum 20 on a medium. The color printer 1 has a recovery member 71 brought into contact with a position after transferring by the transfer device 60 on the photosensitive drum 20 while rotating, an eraser 72 for performing charge and regulation to a position between a transfer position by the transfer device 60 on the photosensitive drum 20 and a toner temporary recovery position by a recovery member 71, and a lighting control part 73 for controlling the eraser 72 so as to perform charge and regulation to a region in which next image formation is not performed without performing charge and regulation to a region in which next image formation is performed on the surface of the photosensitive drum 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
