<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bitterness reducing agent for an amino acid having bitter taste to enable the oral administration of an amino acid having bitter taste or a composition containing the amino acid or enable the eating and drinking of the composition without applying bitter taste of the amino acid and provide a food composition containing the bitterness reducing agent for the bitter taste amino acid and having improved palatability. <P>SOLUTION: The bitter taste of an amino acid having bitter taste or a food composition containing the amino acid is reduced by using an extract of an algae, Caulerpa racemosa, as an active component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
