PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display (LCD) apparatus and a liquid crystal module, capable of displaying an image with the same display quality even if a plurality of liquid crystal cells whose characteristics are different are used. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal module 1 which is an example of the LCD apparatus, includes a memory section 3 for storing a plurality of grayscale correction tables 4a and 4b for the liquid crystal cells 8a and 8b respectively, in which a correction value for individually correcting each color data of RGB is set so that, in the plurality of liquid crystal cells 8a and 8b whose characteristics are different, color reproduction property of the liquid crystal cell 8b other than one liquid crystal cell 8a of the lowest color purity, may be made coincident with that of the liquid crystal cell 8a, and so that gamma characteristics of the liquid crystal cells 8a and 8b may be coincident with that of an objective gamma characteristic. Each color data of RGB is corrected based on the grayscale correction tables 4a and 4b corresponding to incorporated liquid crystal cells 8a and 8b in the plurality of grayscale correction tables 4a and 4b in the memory section 3.
