PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece having a reasonably structured frame body and excelling in design. SOLUTION: This timepiece is equipped with a dial plate 20 and the frame body 30 for surrounding the dial plate. The frame body is provided with first leather bodies 33 and 34 for covering the surface of the frame body while being mounted with a decorative body 60. In this timepiece, the decorative body is equipped with a core material 61 of a shape corresponding to the shape of the frame body, a second leather body 62 for covering the core material, and a cushion 63 put between the core material and the second leather body. Further, this timepiece is equipped with a transparent plate 40 that covers the front face of the dial plate while being supported on the frame body. The first leather bodies partly make contact with the transparent plate, thereby closing a gap between the frame body and the transparent plate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
