PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material excellent in flexibility, adhesion-processing property, etc., and capable of exhibiting a high water-stopping effect without deforming a member to be sealed. SOLUTION: This sealing material consists of an open cell layer containing an ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer rubber and having≤25% closed cell rate, a multiple-layered cell material containing 2 layers of ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer rubber nipping the above open cell layer and having a closed cell layer having≥70% closed cell rate and a water-repelling layer formed on one side of the surfaces of the multiple-layered cell material.
