PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently prevent or control the swell deformation of a panel even if inner pressure is high. SOLUTION: This easily openable can lid is formed with an annular groove 3 formed at the peripheral edge of a disk shaped panel 2 and a flange 4 for fixing a can body formed on the peripheral edge of the groove 3, both of which are integrally formed. The panel 2 is formed with an opening piece 9 sectioned by a score line 8 and a tab 10 fixed roughly at the center of the panel 2 for opening the piece 9 by pulling up one end side forming a finger plate 12. An annular recess 15 which opens roughly in a V shape on the top face side of the panel 2 is formed on the inner peripheral side of the groove 3. The recess 15 is formed with an inside inclining face 18 inside the radial direction of the lid 1 and an outside inclining face 16 outside the radial direction of the lid.
