The system contains a number of devices (18) for creating corona discharges, which has an insulator (20), a lattice-like outer electrode (17) and an inner electrode (16). The insulator (20) projects into a socket (19) in a sealed manner. A transformer (9) and a control device (10), which is supplied thereby and which is provided for the inner electrode (16), are placed in this socket (19). The control device (10) is connected via terminals (1, 2, 3) to a control unit (11), an ozone alarm device (12) and to an operation time alarm device (13). The control device (10) can be controlled by the control unit (11) in order to control the quantity and the energy level of the released ions. In addition, the direct current voltage portion of the current applied to the inner electrode, the voltage level and the frequency can be altered by the control unit (11). |
