METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ALLOCATING A CHANNEL TO WIRELESS INTERFACE

A method and an apparatus for allocating a channel to a radio interface are provided to maximize using of a bandwidth of a network by dynamically allocating a channel rather than fixing it to a radio interface. A receiving unit(310) receives channel allocation information for indicating channels allocated to neighbor node of a certain node. A channel searching unit(320) searches a channel set having a minimum number of channels of which one channel is common with channels allocated to each of the neighbor node based on the channel allocation information. A channel allocation unit(330) allocates a channel to the radio interface(305) based on the search result of the channel searching unit(320).
