<p>A method for Fast Handover (FH) between the Base Stations (BSs) includes the following steps: sevice BS sending handover prenotice message that including the basic required information of the MSS to be handover after handover triggering; after receiving the handover prenotice message, the neighbor BS defining the handover time of MSS formally, and indicating the uplink resource of the fast handover for the MSS after up to the said time, and notifying the indicated uplink resource information of the fast handover to the MSS though the indicated message of the uplink resource; after receiving the uplink resource indicating message sent by the final object BS predefined from the said neighbor BS, and sending message to the final object BS though the uplink resource indicated by the massage, thereby executing the initial access. The object BS defines the formal handover time, and indicates Fast Ranging IE for MSS after up to the time, accordingly should indicate Fast Ranging IE within the defined time and realize the fast handover of terminals.</p> |
