<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system forming excellent indirect illumination, usable as a reading lamp and capable of enhancing relaxation effect. <P>SOLUTION: This lighting system is provided with: an illumination light source 4 movable, through a moving means 5, from a housing position for housing it on the side of a mounting surface W to an extraction position distant from the mounting surface W; and light diffusion members 10 and 9 located on a light beam emitted from the illumination light source 4 when the illumination light source 4 is located at the housing position and capable of diffusing the light; and is so structured that the light diffusion members 10 and 9 are so arranged as to deviate from the light beam of the illumination light source 4 when the illumination light source 4 is located at the extraction position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
