摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a NOx removing device capable of making temperature of exhaust gas proper with high efficiency of energy. <P>SOLUTION: This NOx removing device has an exhaust gas flow passage 21 provided with an intake flow passage and an exhaust flow passage, a heat transfer body 1 for exchanging heat between the intake flow passage and the exhaust flow passage, oxidation-reduction catalyst 3 containing NOx reduction catalyst, and a thermal insulating member covering an outer peripheral surface of an exhaust gas flow passage 21. That is, heat loss is reduced by covering the exhaust gas flow passage with the thermal insulating member. A vacuum hollow member can be adopted as the thermal insulating member. A hollow member forming a flow passage for letting exhaust gas from an exhaust port of the exhaust flow passage pass can also be adopted. Since exhaust gas has higher temperature than atmospheric temperature, heat loss can be reduced. This device improves efficiency of energy by arranging oxidation reduction catalyst in the exhaust gas flow passage and exchanging heat between exhaust gas whose temperature is raised by heat generated in it and exhaust gas before reaching NOx reduction catalyst. Since efficiency of heat exchange can be improved by the thermal insulating member, useless energy charging can be suppressed to be useful in making improvement of fuel economy and purification of exhaust gas compatible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
