<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material which is excellent in coloring properties, of which the uncolored part (unused part) little sustains ground fogging in relation to dry heat and wet heat and which is excellent in the shelf stability of a colored image. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal recording material wherein a thermal coloring layer comprising a normally colorless or light-colored coloring compound and a developing compound capable of developing the color of the coloring compound in heating is provided on a substrate, the thermal coloring layer comprises as the developing compound a mixture including 1,1-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1-phenylethane and 4,4'-[oxybis(ethyleneoxy-p-phenylenesulfonyl)]diphenol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
